Beasley & Ferber participates in ALA’s national “Money Smart Week”
April 14th, 2015 by beasleyferber
For five years running, the American Library Association and the Federal Reserve Bank have partnered up in a national initiative called “Money Smart Week,” in which hundreds of organizations provide financial literacy programs to people in their communities. Beasley & Ferber is proud to have been invited to present our FREE educational legal and financial-planning seminar at two participating local libraries: Rodgers Memorial Library in Hudson, NH and William Fogg Library in Eliot, Maine.
According to the Federal Reserve, the initiative provides programming to all demographics and income levels and “covers all facets of personal finance.” Topics discussed in Money Smart Week programs include basic budgeting; managing student debt; retirement planning; home purchasing; saving money through couponing; and how to prevent identity theft. Our seminar will focus on estate-planning, protecting lifetime savings and homes from sudden catastrophic illness and nursing-home “spend-down,” and other important information.
Join us at one of these local “Money Smart” venues!
